Boys Second, Girls Third at Eastern Hancock Tri The high school track and field team competed against Eastern Hancock and Morristown on Tuesday. The boys team was led by the distance squad, with Nolan Dailey (4:39.6), Max Moore (5:01.5), and Jace Wright (5:04.6) taking first through third in the 1600-meter run and Dailey (10:01.0) and Moore (11:08.0) going one-two in the 3200. The 4 x 400 relay team of Koleson Gernentz, Mason Johnson, Aiden Bense, and Braydon McFarland won with a time of 3:53.0. Gernentz also placed first in the 800 (2:17.3), while McFarland took the 200-meter dash (23.6). Addyson Russell was the Lady Jets' leading scorer, with triple victories in the 100-meter dash (12.9), 200-meter dash (27.3), and long jump (14' 1").
