Varsity Track Third at Waldron Invite The boys’ and girls’ varsity track team both finished in third place at Saturday's Waldron Mohawk Invitational. Addyson Russell led the girl’s team with firsts in long jump (14' 11.25") and the 200-meter dash (26.48) and a second in the 100-meter dash (13.34). Abigayle Trotter placed second in the 800 with a season-best time of 2:55.63. The boys' team had an especially successful day in the relays. Koleson Gernentz, Jace Wright, Max Moore, and Nolan Dailey opened the meet with a win in the 4 x 800, coming in at 8:55.70. The 4 x 100 team of Curtis Kilps, Max Miller, Corbin Holzer, and Braydon McFarland took a close third with a time of 46.01. Gernentz, Dailey, Bense, and McFarland closed the meet with a hard-fought victory in the 4 x 400 relay, edging out Switzerland County with a time of 3:40.47. All three relay teams' times represent top ten performances in Hauser program history.
