Varsity vs Trinity Lutheran High School (3 - 2) Win The Hauser Jets (5-1) came out strong and held off a determined Trinity Lutheran team to secure a 3-2 win Tuesday evening. The Jets struck early, racing out to a 2-0 lead just six minutes into the match. However, Trinity Lutheran responded with two goals of their own before halftime, tying the match and shifting momentum. The second half was filled with tense moments, close calls, and a few unlucky breaks, but Hauser stayed composed. With just eight minutes left on the clock, the Jets found their breakthrough. Nicholas Mann netted his second goal of the night to put Hauser ahead 3-2 — and this time, they didn’t let the lead slip away. The Jets tightened up their defense and held off Trinity’s late pushes to seal the win. Mann finished with two goals, while Phillipe Douce added the third. Camden Grimes was instrumental in the attack, assisting on all three goals with smart, well-placed passes that set the tone for Hauser’s offense. Goalkeeper Austin Sanders came up big with five timely saves, keeping Hauser in control during the most crucial moments. Man of the Match: The Offense Rather than one individual, the Man of the Match honor went to the entire Hauser offensive unit, which kept steady pressure on Trinity’s defense and worked together seamlessly throughout the match. The Jets return home Saturday morning for a 10:00 a.m. matchup against South Ripley. Fans are encouraged to come out and support what’s shaping up to be a strong Hauser squad.
