Jets Tennis Falls to Shelbyville in 0-5 Sweep SHELBYVILLE – The Hauser boys tennis team faced a tough test on the road Thursday, falling 0-5 to a strong Shelbyville squad. In singles play, James Oliver dropped his #1 match to Reece Prickett 1-6, 0-6, while Joel Bechtel battled in the #2 spot but came up short against Kashton Laycock 2-6, 3-6. At #3 singles, Graydon Kilps fell to Bram Kolkmeier 1-6, 1-6. Doubles play saw competitive efforts from the Jets, but they couldn’t break through. The #1 duo of RJ Foster and Kameron Blair lost 0-6, 3-6 to Aiden Smith and Wyatt Armstrong. In the #2 doubles match, Brady Miller and Curtis Kilps pushed their opponents but ultimately fell 4-6, 3-6 to Aiden Alton and Jack Va-Wye. The Jets will look to regroup as they prepare for upcoming conference play.
