Hauser Battles Hard in Four-Set Loss to Brown County The Hauser volleyball team showed grit and determination in a competitive match against Brown County on Monday night but ultimately came up short, falling in four hard-fought sets: 26-28, 25-22, 21-25, 15-25. The Jets came out strong, narrowly dropping the first set in extra points before bouncing back to take the second. Despite the momentum shift, Brown County edged out the final two sets to seal the win. Kaysie led at the service line with 4 aces, while Hayden and Kaidenze each added 3 aces of their own. Offensively, Charleston paced the attack with 13 kills, followed by Kaidenze with 6 and Peyton with 3. Leah ran the offense efficiently, dishing out 19 assists, with support from Hayden (3) and Kaidenze (1). At the net, Charleston contributed 1 solo block and 2 doubles, while Kaidenze added 1 solo and 1 double, and Kaysie joined in on a double block. Defensively, the Jets were led by Charleston’s 22 digs, Hope with 19, and Hayden with 15, keeping the team in the match with strong back-row play.
