Senior Nolan Dailey took first place at Jennings County's Ray Gerkin Invitational, held at Muscatatuck County Park. Hauser finished fourth as a team to sectional rivals Seymour, Jennings County, and Columbus East, coming in just two points behind the Olympians. Dailey cruised to the win with a finishing time of 16:25.70 for the 5K course. Jace Wright cracked a top-ten finish, coming in ninth at 17:03.22. Max Moore took 17th in 17:45.06, while Mason Moore was 29th (18:41.20) and Braydon McFarland 33rd (18:51.92). Grady Niccum placed 50th (20:27.63), Mason Johnson finished 59th (21:13.16), and Max Miller was 79th, improving his personal best to 25:09.57. The high school team travels to South Ripley Thursday evening for the Great Pumpkin Invitational, then will host the Heritage Days Cross County Classic this Saturday.
