The varsity boys track team remained competitive throughout Tuesday’s four-way meet at Batesville but ultimately fell short, coming in fourth.
Alex Lopez was the winner of long jump (18-11.5), as well as the runner-up in the 400 meter dash (53.27). Forest Steele took second place in the 110 meter hurdles in 17.37, and third in the 300 meter hurdles in 47.89. The team of Colin Kistler, Cameron Toole, Thomas Essex, and Lopez took third place in the 4×400 relay, running 3:57.31.
Other individual scorers for Hauser were Thomas Essex in the 100 and 200, Colin Kistler in the 1600 and 800, Aiden Cheshire in the 3200, Cameron Toole in long jump and 400, and Cameron Scott in shot put.
